How to search and use filters

Organizational number - Enter the digits of the organizational number of the company, and relevant results will appear continuously

Company name - Enter the name of the company, and relevant results will appear continuously

Filters - Select the desired filters, and relevant results will appear continuously. The filter by development class searches for companies based on the principle that they can handle the selected development class. For example, a search for “designing architecture” in development class 2 will show all companies that have central approval for designing architecture in development class 2 or 3

Central approval is a quality scheme

Central approved companies have the necessary expertise, experience and systems for their business in the construction industry. These enterprises can demonstrate that they have:

• The right competence and experience from their field
• Quality assurance procedures
• Paid their taxes

As optional additional information, the company may also state that it has been approved as a training company and that it has an insurance scheme for its employees.

Central approval is administered by the Norwegian Building Authority

Central approval is a voluntary quality scheme. The companies included have applied to the Norwegian Building Authority for approval and have documented that they meet the requirements.

The aim of the scheme is to promote quality and conscientiousness among all players in the construction industry. It is an offence to misuse the seal of quality.
